WHAT WE PROVIDE

Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or already has court experience, the Hurricanes Youth Basketball Programme offers an opportunity to learn, develop, and enjoy the game in a positive and supportive environment. We welcome players from U8 to U18, with coaching that focuses on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and a genuine love for basketball.

OUR FOCUS

Our programme is designed to support every player’s individual journey while creating an environment where they can challenge themselves alongside teammates of similar ability. For those looking to continue their basketball journey, we provide a clear pathway into higher-level youth basketball and ultimately our senior programme, helping every player grow both on and off the court while proudly representing the Dubai Hurricanes.

AGE GROUPS

U8-U10 & U12-U14

Our younger age groups are centred around developing a love for basketball while building strong fundamental skills in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment. Through engaging coaching sessions, players improve their ball handling, passing, shooting, footwork and game awareness, while learning the importance of teamwork, communication and sportsmanship.

U16-U18

Our U16–U18 programme is designed to prepare players for the demands of senior basketball by refining technical ability, developing tactical understanding and increasing the intensity of training. Players are encouraged to take greater ownership of their performance while continuing to build confidence, resilience and leadership within a team environment. The programme provides a clear pathway into senior basketball, helping players reach their potential while proudly representing the Dubai Hurricanes.

TRAINING TIMES & LOCATION

Training takes place twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, giving players consistent opportunities to develop their technical skills, improve game awareness and grow in confidence.

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6.00 pm – 7.00 pm
at JESS Arabian Ranches, Dubai.

YOUTH
U16 - U18

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7.00 pm – 8.00 pm
at JESS Arabian Ranches, Dubai.
